The start of something amazing
5The moment you open the generous sized jar, and smell the real kiwi forest scent of Black fern you’ll be taken to a place of calm, a cream that is in a well designed and though out jar with an easy to read and uncluttered label, makes this a product well drawn to the eye. I love how this cream applies, so smooth and well absorbed by my skin, it has no greasy after feel is light to the touch and you don’t need much. Applying at night allowed my skin the much needed boost overnight, and what a great boost it is, when you wake up to smooth well hydrated skin you feel your best. The subtle forest scent of Black fern brings a real New Zealand feel to it, and I certainly enjoy that. This product does what it says, I am so very happy with it.

My new preferred Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream
5Since applying this Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream nightly my tired dry stressed skin feels rehydrated and has a sheeny lustrous glow. The use of natural ingredients like native New Zealand mamaku black fern gives me the reassurance that no nasty ingredients are used. Probiotic night recovery is a water cream moisturiser that is effortless to apply. I have noticed my skin feels less dry and my skin has a more lustrous glossy appearance.

Luxurious night cream
5From the second I opened the jar I was in love. The silky consistently when applying is like nothing I've tried before, it goes on silky smooth and absorbs fast, leaving my skin soft and hydrated without any oily residue. Within a few days of using is delicious cream my skin is more firm, refined, softer, my fine lines have disappeared and I don't have anymore patchy red skin. I now have the confidence to wear no makeup. Thank you Antipodes for developing this amazing natural product.

Like a drink for your skin
5When I first opened the jar I thought 'It smells amazing!', and when I first put it on I thought 'It feels like a drink for my skin!'. I love the texture, the way it is absorbed, the way it makes mt skin feel. I've only tried it for a week so cannot comment in long-term results, but I've had no adverse reactions and my skin is glowing.

So light and beautiful
4As soon as I opened the tub and rubbed the product on the back of my hand I fell inlove.. The colour is a beautiful lilac, reminds me of unicorns! The texture is light and hydrating, very much an embodiment of a water cream. The smell is so lovely, quite strong to be honest, however my sensitive skin wasn't irritated by it. Something to be wary of for super sensitive skins or noses. The effects were instantaneous, my skin felt soft, smooth and hydrated. I had a patch of contact dermatitis on my eyelid and after two days of using Culture it had completely cleared. I started using this "night cream" as my daily moisturiser and it has been amazing. I definitely have noticed an improvement in the overall health of my skin. I was pretty turned off by the price point... I don't have the luxury of spending $40+ on a night cream. But seeing as I now use this as a multi purpose product (night & day cream) and a little goes a very long way the tub will last me a long time... I can justify spending the price. All praise aside, this product isn't perfect. I would much rather this cream be in a different package. I feel like I'm contaminating the product everytime I open the container. Plus air exposure worries me as the ingredients may lose their effectiveness and potency over time. A glass bottle with a controllable pump top would be most efficient. Thank you Antipodes X

Lovely scent and texture, makes my skin so soft
5The texture of this cream is different to anything else I’ve tried - it feels really rich, but isn’t too heavy on my skin. It smells so good, and it’s nice to use at bedtime. I noticed my skin was softer as early as day 2. Definitely worth a try, I’ll be getting it again!

Soothingly hydrating
5I have often painfully dry, dehydrated skin and always struggle to keep my face hydrated during the day. This cream is a soothing comfort to apply after I’ve cleansed my face at night, and I wake up with smooth, plump, bouncy skin - it’s a delight.

A cream to incorporate in your sleep routine
5Water creams are a staple presence in the hydrating lotions market - the Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream is a strong contender to be one of my favorites. This dense yet light textured cream delivers a hydrating splash, promising to restore all that the sun and wind has stripped from my skin in Wellington weather. The botanical smell is quite strong, so if you're sensitive to scents this might be a turn-off. However, I found the smell dissipated quickly and I now incorporate the floral scent into part of my 'it's time to relax' wind-down regime. I found the elixir to be hydrating, not too heavy and didn't leave my skin feeling greasy. The texture, like other water creams, takes a bit of getting used to so you don't slather on too much to compensate for the slick thin-gel. I like this more than the Tatcha The Water Cream, and it seem to have made my skin brighter and more even-toned.

New night routine
4Firstly, I love Antipodes packaging. It feels like a quality product being protected by a robust glass jar. The cream is a beautiful purple colour. The consistency appears almost mask like, however rest assured, it blended and dissolved very well. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance! A very calming relaxing smell that lingers long after application. Designed to help put you in sleep mode i suspect which is a great addition for a night cream! I have very sensitive skin so for an honest review I tested it on a freshly washed face with no other product. I am almost nervous to try a product not designed specifically for sensitive skin but for a good review I jumped straight in. I was pleasantly surprised to not be greeted with the instant stinging sensation that highly fragranced products give me. There was definitely a bit of a spicey feel, but that's to be expected with my annoying skin. After a couple of minutes the cream sunk into my skin and I was left with a soft texture and a beautiful smell with no sticky residue. In the morning I was happy to not have a rosacea flare up. That is always a plus in my books. Its early days so hard to say if its a miracle product...but...I have no flaky dry skin like I usually do!! Could be coincidence or maybe this product does what it says it does.....hmm too early to tell. I will absolutely keep using!

Absolutely adore Culture
5The moment you remove the lid from this beautiful night creme you will be enchanted by its delicious fragrance. Even my husband said wow that smells so nice. Glides onto your skin and a little goes a long way After a few days my skin feels smoother and firmer and redness decreased. Already a firm favourite. Will not be without Culture in my routine.
